Did you know that CTRL ERP solutions can be installed in a Microsoft Azure® cloud environment?

CTRL ERP software and solutions can operate both from local servers physically installed in your offices and through a fully configured cloud infrastructure hosted on Microsoft®'s Azure® platform.

Both approaches have their advantages and disadvantages. For example:

• A cloud-based approach frees your organization from certain support and periodic maintenance costs for your central servers. In addition, this approach offers you the flexibility to quickly upgrade your storage capacity and processing power. Microsoft Azure® secure hosting provides users with a high degree of mobility. But, of course, there is a price to pay for this flexibility.
  
• A physical central server approach at your offices usually allows you to reduce your periodic infrastructure costs by combining and amortizing, for example, the costs of acquiring central servers and their maintenance over a five-year period. However, in the event of a breakdown, the recovery time may be longer, for example, to order parts.

You should also consider certain key factors:

• Regardless of the option you choose, your employees and software users will need a workstation or a minimum set of peripherals to operate. This cost remains the same for both options.
